Enjoy peaceful lakefront living just minutes from Fish Creek, Ephraim, Egg Harbor, Baileys Harbor, and Peninsula State Park. This handcrafted lake house offers stunning views from every room, with 5 bedrooms, 4 baths, and space for up to 14 guests. A private dock just 50 feet away lets you enjoy swimming, fishing, and boating right from your doorstep. Sorry we do not allow bachelor or bachelorette parties or large gatherings. Note, for the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have external security camera in the parking lot of the home.

Vrbo10/10 Posted Aug 19, 2025My family had a wonderful week in Door County staying at this delightful home on Kangaroo Lake! The property is gorgeous and the photos in the listing don’t do it justice. The home was beautiful, clean, and the hosts were fantastic! This kitchen was one of the most well-equipped ones that I’ve stayed in and had everything we needed and more. With 3 kids in our group, the fire pit, boats, and dock were heavily used and the lake’s sand bottom off the dock was perfect for swimming. Each bedroom had its own A/C unit, and stayed very cool (and my husband and I like the COLD then sleeping), and the unit in the main area also kept things nice and cool, even with temps almost in the 90s outside. The 5 minute drive to Bailey’s Harbor was the perfect distance to pop over and do things/grab anything we needed. Michael was a fantastic host- extremely responsive, and checked in to make sure we were settled in and see whether we needed anything during our stay. Will absolutely be staying here again! Property was in a great location. The house is gorgeous with so much space! Right on Kangaroo Lake which allowed us to kayak and fish The house was furnished with everything we needed and the host was right there when we had a question. Spetacular
We throughly enjoyed our stay! It had everything we needed and the view was spectacular. We meet Terry and found we had a lot of common interest which was fun. The place was clean, well stocked, and had plenty on space for the 9 of us. I would not hesitate to stay with Micheal and Terry again. Thanks for the made memories. Would highly recommend this house for your Door County vacation! Michael was such a great host and the house is really spectacular. It is in a lovely quiet spot but close to Bailey's Harbor and all Door County has to offer. We stayed in late October, so didn't get to enjoy the lake too much but it would be so great for a summer vacation!Our group was quite large, 8 adults and 7 kids under the age of 3. The house had plenty of space for us all and the kitchen was well equipped for the simple meals we made there. We did have an issue with the coffee maker on the first morning of our stay, but Michael brought us a new one the same day which was so appreciated. Can not recommend this property enough! Beautiful waterfront!
Michael’s home is a beautiful waterfront home. With wonderful views and peaceful surroundings. There are kayaks and a dock. The water is clear and a nice depth for kids to play and swim.
