With 6 bedrooms, 4 baths, 2 living rooms, and 2 kitchens, this retreat is ideal for families and groups of all sizes. Enjoy seamless accessibility, a rear porch with a grill, a fire pit, and cozy fireplaces. Walk to shops, restaurants, the beach, and the nostalgic drive-in. Sorry we do not allow bachelor or bachelorette parties or large gatherings. Note: for the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have 1 external security camera in the front parking lot.

Small church group
We really enjoyed being able to gather together for meals and games in this fabulous cabin. Having a zero barrier entry for a mildly disabled group member was a major consideration for this property. One member noted to me, "everything we needed for cooking, food prep, and even bathroom concerns is provided by this property". Thank you for your hospitality! We'll be back!!

Annual friends weekend
This was our 4th time staying here! Lots of room to spread out and great gathering spaces too. Best location- just steps to the park and within walking distance to all of the Fish Creek shops. Well stocked. Nice gas fireplaces. Friendly and responsive owners. Perfect place for a large group!

We were a family group of 15 and it not only accommodate us bedroom-wise, but the eating, cooking (2 full kitchens!), living spaces were excellent. From the 6 year told kids to the oldest adults, all made comments about how much they liked the lodge. It was a cold January and we had easy access to restaurants, xc skiing, sledding, hiking. Host is very kind and helpful. It such a perfect house for a group. Nine women for a girls weekend and it was perfect. Love two kitchens for all our great food! Perfect location but it was a below zero weekend so so stayed in did crafts and games on the amazing large tables. Beautiful.
Beautiful place to stay, and very clean. Michael was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. He also reached out the day after our arrival to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. There were lots of things within walking distance/short drive. We definitely will be back! Lovely!
The lodge was lovely, welcoming and felt so comfortable. There was plenty of room for all of us and the beds were very comfortable. We loved all the outdoor spaces and the fire pit as well as the corn hole! It is literally on the edge of beautiful Peninsula State Park and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to friends and family! Â Thank you for choosing us and taking such good care. We are are pleased that everyone was happy and enjoyed all. Wonderful!
Our stay with extended family over the Christmas weekend was wonderful! There were 14 of us staying there and it never felt crowded — there is so much space! We really appreciated the second kitchen and made good use of a second refrigerator and oven. Our outdoor loving family really liked that we could hike right out our front door but it’s also very walkable to shopping and restaurants. We loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!!  Thank you for bringing your family to Door County and our property, It was our pleasure to host you and so happy to hear you enjoyed the house and location. Perfect!
Public review·5 This was our second year staying at Michael's. It is an amazing home with plenty of space. Our group of 14 were very comfortable, walked to Fish Creek and enjoyed freshly fallen snow. It is a perfect rental for family and friend gatherings.
